A single number marks a house.

I think this piece is really well thought out. I love the use of a macro setting to capture the details on the wood and the cobwebs in the crack. Combined with the unusual angle this picture creates an interesting depth of field as the eye is drawn around the subject by the line of the wood and the number itself, I think that having the number hanging off the side of the image aslo aids the eye in it's movement around the image. It's not clear to me if you have used any editorial techniques, which I personally find a plus. If you have not, then the contrasts in the tones of image, especially the numbers, were captured skillfully.
